Tournament Rules

1. Eligible participants will      be USBC Members
2. Handicap will be 90      percent of 220.
3. Entering averages:
4. Previous season’s highest      of :
5. A single USBC league      average based on a minimum of 21 games
6. A composite average of all      USBC leagues, including leagues with less than 21 games.
7. If no average last year,      use highest current season USBC average at the time of

entry for 21 or more games.

1. Bowlers with neither of      the above averages must bowl scratch.
2. If current season average      for at least 21 games at the time      of bowling exceeds last season’s average by 10 or more pins, current      season average must be used (Rule 319e).
3. Reporting of previous      tournament winnings will apply. (Rule 319d)
4. The average adjustment      rule will apply (Rule 319e)
5. It is each bowler’s      responsibility to verify the accuracy of their own average in handicap and      classified tournament, whether originally submitted by the bowler, the      team captain or others. Failure to      use the correct average may disqualify the score if submitted average is      lower than correct average, thereby resulting in a lower classification or      more handicap. Prize winnings will be based on the submitted average, if      it is higher that the correct average (Rule 319a-3).
6. Teams may be composed of      all women with a playing strength of Three
7. All decisions of the      tournament manager are final unless an appeal is made in accordance with      Rule 329.
